Raising funds for CHOKO Projects
In 2017, we held our first Colour Run, where hundreds of Cholsey-ites, and friends and family, spent a happy, paint-splattered time at the Recreation Ground on Saturday 10 June!
When it was first suggested to the CHOKO Committee by organiser, Jo Lindholm, that people would pay good money both to get covered in paint and to throw powder paint at friends and family, it must be said that the CHOKO Committee were a little bemused…but how wrong we were! All our ‘runs’ since then have been well supported by people of all ages and abilities. As the runs are not a race and the aim is to get as much colour as possible, it has meant that you can amble, skip or run, whichever you wish!
As well as a good fun, community event, much money has also been raised for CHOKO’s projects in Africa.
