The CHOKO Team would like to say a huge thankyou to everyone who attended the Beer Festival on Saturday. Together we have managed to raise around £8500 for our chosen charities which include Go M.A.D in Tanzania, Cholsey Primary School PTA, The Cholsey Volunteers and Cholsey Pre-School. A couple of weeks after the colourful excitement of May Day, CHOKO brought the party indoors with a throwback to remember — our Over-18s 90s Disco Evening, held at Cholsey Great Hall. This unforgettable night was all about great tunes, good vibes, and raising funds for Go MAD in Tanzania, the inspiring charity we continue

Despite the overcast weather, this year’s May Day celebration in Cholsey was bursting with energy, colour, and community spirit — and CHOKO was proud to be right at the heart of it. The community used the opportunity to also hold VE Day celebrations, which helped aid the festivities. Once again we hosted a vibrant Colour

This year we have a few events organised. These include the village May Day event where once again CHOKO will be organising the bar but will also be hosting the Colour Run. Also in may Choko will collaborate with the Great Hall to present a 90’s Disco evening and later in the year on Saturday

On Saturday September 28th the Choko Beer Festival opened the Laurence Hall doors forthe 16th time.We had no idea we would be blessed with such good weather for our annual beer bonanza,particularly when considering how wet it had been in the build up to it, but the fine weathercould not have been more perfectly timed
